Walking into work at the beginning of the day, groups of office workers traipsing up the stairs and I overhear this conversation:

Office worker 1: "I saw you went to the circus last night" (I assume she'd seen a Facebook status).

Office worker 2: "Yes, it was good".

Office worker 1: "Was it good? ".

Office worker 2: "Yes".

Office worker 1: "Why did you go there then?".


I couldn't take any more and took a different route to my department just to get away from her

I actually do this in shops too, but only when they have a clearly visible, large stock of the item I'm after

i was once called 7 times on the phone by the same guy who was trying to get through to the doctors. each time i told him its the wrong number.repeated the number back to him so it was clear he has dialed it wrong.only to put the phone down for it to instantly ring again

on the 7th time i didn't even answer just listened to him rant on how he couldn't get through or get an appointment and hed wasted all of his calling credit
