Where are you guys finding all this mint condition stuff ?

I use eBay, but I am selective these days. I need to replace some of my machines for better versions (mainly boxing) as some of the boxes are not as mint as I remember them. I am prepared to pay top money, so have in the past stuck mad bids in to ensure I win stuff, but the prices have gone made these days and even I won't put 1K for a ZX80 into a bid machine as I would be gutted to spend that level. Having said that the best Jupiter Ace out there I know of is currently 899, which is far too much and that has been around for ages. I could easily pay that, but when at that level is stupid, frankly.

Wow what a fantastic collection, not very often you see a Texas Instruments or a Tandy oops I mean Radio Shack!

Bet you've got a Dragon 32 and a Mattel Aquarius in your collection?

I sold my Dragon 32 the other month.....I have a really mint one arriving this week however :D

I am toying with the Aquarius at the moment as it happens....not in my collection yet....

They should all straighten up in time, Photobucket has them right, they take time to come through via the links I believe...

Nice collection I love the design features on some of these and you can see how they all tried to differentiate themselves from the others.

The Sinclair QL looks awesome. Actually I love the design of all the Sinclair you have posted. Todays computers look pretty boring in comparison.

Are they all working? Do you display them? Would be a shame to keep them all boxed up but I imagine displaying them all could be quite tricky.

I have a boxed ZX81 which was my dads and a boxed Amstrad CPC 464 from when I was younger gathering dust in the attic.

All work, all boxed, most with all the bits they came with in good boxes. I am currently planning to put them in display cabinets in my office, just trying to sort out some options. I only buy boxed and working devices. I have several more but they are stored in my garage loft and not been up there lately.

Great collection Housey! Is it predominantly Western machines you collect? I've been really intrigued by the Sharp X68000 and FM Towns systems by they can carry a hefty price even for average condition units. I saw on eBay the other day a full FM Towns system complete with monitor boxed which looked a good condition but was £1k.

I don't mind MSX devices, which didn't really do much in Europe, but my preference is very much home computers that plug into a TV from late 70's till the 16bit Amiga/ST era when consoles and PC's took over really.

How many NES games make a full set?

What are the 9 you need?

In the PAL A collection there are 299 games - but I include the UK Codemaster releases i.e. Micro Machines, Dizzy etc so that brings my list up to 307 [Not including variants of PAL A releases like the Italian version of Mario Bros. in the picture above or the Turtles games which have Ninja in the title and not hero etc.)

The 9 I need are:
Battleship
Chip N Dale 2
Corvette ZR-1
Flintstons Dinosaur Peak
Galaga
Stack Up
Cosmic Spacehead
MIG 29
Super Sports Challenge
