Twiddly knobs were binned from 53 reg cars onwards. I turned down several due to them having twidly knobs. Glad now as the facelift mondeos all have the same floor looms for the 1st few years so retrofitting things like climate, heated seats, front fogs, rear leccy windows & folding mirrors is simple as already wired up for it. Only needed to get the soldering iron out for the xenons & nav system, everything else is plug & play.

My washer fluid tubes/motor was gunky so dismantled the various bits, cleaned and now working as it did previously.

My A/C has an "auto" button.

All it does as far as I can tell, is set the temperature to 22, put the fans on setting 5, and point the air at my face.

Fixed it, then fixed it a little more, then a bit more after that.

Then took it out in the quiet country side to see if I could break it.

A few days ago one of my headlights went, which was annoying as I only had them changed in the summer.

Decided to ditch Halfords and buy some Philips X-treme bulbs and fit them myself. I even surprised myself how essy it was. Much better and cheaper than Halfords.
