Not sure i been on a 72 player server yet, will check next time.
Doubt it. On my 780Ti in 1440p everything epic I get dips to 25fps sometimes. This si with 16gb ram, i7 [email protected]
Will change to 1080p and be amazed if I get 70-80fps all the time
Set to 1080p, joined a 60 player server and it was around 75fps, but dips to mid 60s. Not bad but looks rubbish in 1080p anyway after using 1440p.

just playing on redcoats EU#1 and the server lagged and everyone was disconnected.. but now the server still thinks i, and all the other players are playing still. steam also says 75/60.

The skylake cpu i have is at 4.6, and a lot of reviews and videos on net say that its a great cpu for keeping fps up and not dropping to low, 1080P big difference from 1440.
My [email protected] benches the same scores as a Skylake i7@stock. Whatever stock may be.
Anyway, I am constantly getting "server closed connection to host" "Your connection to the host has been lost" "server full" or just a blank screen back now. This in on servers that are 69/72 aswell, not just 71/72
I have a 100Mb, FTTP connection and speedtests are 95Mb up / 95Mb down. Doubt very much its my connection

Yes it will, but where a 4790K might dip down to like 30/40fps with a skylake you may only dip down to like 50/60fps, as a example you will see this in gta 5, there are benchmarks showing this, i know max fps are roughly the same thou on chips.

On another note our server was down most of yesterday (probs with multiplay ) all seems good now as it went back up @ 22:30 pings are lovely on our UK Server showing 18-20 hopefully end of server crashes

You can now use the Steam server browser by click on Steam -> Servers -> Change Filters and select Squad as the game.
You guys can use this if you would like to have auto-retry to join full servers.
Cool, do you have to start up squad in steam before you see that steam server browser ?
