New Ipad?

Surprisingly Apple didn't update the normal size Ipad last November like all of the past few years. My Ipad2 is starting to struggle with the latest apps, so am thinking about a new one. Don't want an Ipad Pro. So is there any rumours of when they're going to update the standard size Ipad? Don't want to buy an Air2 if a new one is imminent.

Some of the rumours suggest that in March Apple will be doing a event which could be announcing a new IPad.

Thanks RJC. I'm not in a hurry, so will wait and see if the March event has an update.

iPad 2 struggling, wow I think my iPad 4 the one before the Air is already sluggish with ios9. The Air 3 won't be much different imo though, they won't jump the cpu anywhere near the pro so don't expect much difference between air 2 and 3.
