Sorry to drag up an old thread but  shut up and take my money :D

Not very subtle... I love it :D

This feels a bit out of place with the supercars here, but the idea of a 320 bhp V6 and sequential gearbox in a Twingo piqued my fancy :

Look even more prone to spin out into a ditch than the Clio V6, which could be fun!

Chrysler Tubrine.

This thing was powered by a turbine engine back in the early 60's but Chrysler decided to reclaim them all and destroy all but 9 of them.

Easy- What I think is one of the best looking cars of all time, the Alfa Lamborghini GTV:

"dat arse"

Sort of related: Mercedes T80

In 1938 Mercedes achieved the the fastest speed recorded on a public road with the W125 Rekordwagon- 268mph. It was essentally a heavily modified, V12 powered version of their 1937 racing car. And a beautiful car it was too!

However this wasn't considered fast enough so the Germans (with Hitler's blessing) embarked on the T80- a 6 wheeled, 44.5 litre Daimler-Benz DB 603 inverted V12 powered monster, with a target speed of 470mph (to break the absolute land speed record). With the outbreak of World War 2 however, it never got the change.

Both cars are in the MB museum in Stuttgart- I really want to go there!
