I'm going to West America in September for our honeymoon, and I wanted I very good compact camera to capture the experience so we can remember it forever!
Whilst a DSLR would be lovely, I think we will struggle with the space to bring it across with us.
Ideally I want something that can capture images with a high quality, but also that has ability to take decent video footage as well.
I currently have a Sony HX20, which has served me well over the last 3 years, but I'm after a step up. Last time I looked (and from a little research it still appears to be) the Sony RX100 was the camera of choice. Is this still the case? My budget is about £300.
