Bought for the wife, massive money off UK list price due to SA currency.

Housey, that's stunning!

Was in the airport, spotted it and know the wife had looked at it when I bought my last watch and frankly there were thousands off UK list price so just bought it after some serious WhatsApp messaging to and fro'ing :D

Could sell it for well over what I paid for it to a dealer today if I wished, but she loves it. :(

lol deliberately taking a picture to show off your expensive watch inside your expensive car, could it be more materialistic? I mean, I own expensive things... but come on :p

Its a lovely simple design, what case size Housey? I reckon from looking at the pics a bloke could maybe wear it too. Seen a few smaller cases watches that look equally at home on a man ir woman's wrist. Myself though I'm not that keen on a lot of the oversized "wrist clocks" you see theese days.

It's from their new female range so it's smaller but I guess a guy could get away with it. Here it is compared to mine but I think this issue you might have is the size of the strap.

Personally I've moved towards the more classic look with age and away from the all metal sports watch look, of which I have a few. I just like the simpler less obvious bling, which I totally get is an age thing.

Nice pair. I like leather straps on more formal type watches. Currently I'm into divers where I do prefer a metal bracelet. I'm actually looking into replacing the leather strap on a citizen eco drive I have as the leather is starting to crack a bit despite not being worn much.

Housey, that IWC chrono is stunning mate. I really really like these, I've been looking at a few of the white face, blue hand Portuguese' recently.

Just a bit annoying that my sub £100 Pulsar keeps time better than my three and a half grand Omega...

It is annoying, my Submariner was synced about 2 weeks ago and now running over -40 seconds. My Speedmaster is faring a bit better at -30 seconds.

I know some people regulate their watch manually by placing them in a certain positions overnight. But I normally don't take my watch off once its on, unless I'm changing watches.

I like IWC but I am told that their customer service is garbage and they have a bit of a "your fault it broke" mindset so hopefully I don't need to test that.

Looking for a watch in the £200-300 range. Quite like the look of this:

I've never owned a leather strap watch, you guys have any suggestions for something in that price range? Something that could double up as a casual and dress watch maybe?

Something classic -

Sorry for the love of Seikos, I just researched them a lot but I'm sure you will get a lot of suggestions :).

Much appreciated

Out of those the Automatic Presage stands out but i'm not sure if I like it enough to spend that money on it though!
