Could not wait any longer, changed my order from hof 1070 to msi gaming x 1070. Hopefully it does not disappoint!

Personally, MSI has been my preference over the last few years. Their two-fan choices are solid, quiet, and look good. I've never had any problems with reliabilityin all my time with this brand.

The EVGA SC looks good, especially when it gets lit up with its white LEDs, and the latest ACX 3.0 cooler it has is very effective in cooling the card.

The Gainward is the highest boost-clocking card of the 3 and looks very nice. There are reviews of the 1080 variants for all three cards which I recommend viewing because they all have pretty much the same or very similar construction as their 1070 counterparts. The GLH 1080 seems very impressive, offering effective and quiet cooling, with very strong gaming performance for a good price.

They're all strong cards, but depite my MSI arriving tomorrow, I would have a hard time turning down the Gainward, with the EVGA coming in third as it is essentially the FE version with a better cooler and higher clock.

So I ordered https://www.overclockers.co.uk/giga...ics-card-gv-n1070g1-gaming-8gd-gx-188-gi.html earlier today when there was 7 in stock, and it said for delivery tomorrow, the order is still "In process" and they're now on pre-order, I guess the one I ordered when it said there was 7 in stock sold out and it's not coming after all?

Finally narrowed my choice down to the following 1070 cards

MSI gaming X
EVGA SC
Gainward GLH

Has anyone got any advice on which card to get? Most of my cards in the last ten years or so have been Sapphire AMD, so I'm a bit lost at the moment with the green team and which cards tend to have the better coolers\ less noise\ most reliable.

Really want to order one of these over the weekend.

I know the MSI has a custom PCB with 10 phase power delivery from reviews. I can say personally that it's quiet as living bejesus, looks amazing IRL, and critically it has a +26% power target. So far I've just plugged in settings that give me 2.05 GHz core and 9GHz mem, yet to actually see how far it can go.

Can't say much about the other models although I'd be wary of the SC if it really is just an FE with a cooler as that assumes a +12% power target. For my money though I'd also consider the KFA2 EXOC model if waiting isn't a huge issue, again assuming that model has a decent power target (can't find any info on this yet either).

No idea, but I'd suspect that someone is realising that the AIB cards are probably worth more than the FE cards, so they can charge FE prices or more... which probably won't change for a while.

The Gigabyte G1 would definitely be my choice if I wasn't hooked on EVGA's customer support/warranty! Looks like a really clean card, and performs well.

Managed to get a MSI 1070 Gaming X, ordered last night arrived today Superb so far, very quiet. Fans stop at idle so will be easy on the dust gathering too. Just fired up a Doom session at ultra @1440 - super smooth 63C max.

Very very pleased given this is the upgrade I've been waiting for my GTX 770
