Corsair HX620 - too old for an i7 6700K/GTX 1070?

Building a new rig and intending to reuse my Corsair HX 620 that's being going strong for past 9 years.

However, I'm moving up from an i5 3570K 3.4GHz and Radeon 7950 Boost to an i7 6700K and MSI 1070 AERO OC on a Gigabyte Z170 Gaming-5 mobo.

I suppose time will tell, but do you think the PSU has the chops for this (I suspect it does, but don't want to find out the hard way that I was setting myself up for breaking something).

Thanks in advance.

It should be ok (it has more than enough power). At 9 years old it is getting on a bit now and internal components will have degraded somewhat so I would consider replacing it and keeping it as a spare.

I wouldn't be changing from a 3570k, especially if it has a decent overclock, anytime soon either.

Thanks. The old rig (i5 3570K) is being re-purposed for use by my wife, so it was a convenient excuse to upgrade, plus I'm almost exclusively an Arma3 player so the CPU upgrade is appreciable.

Yea, you'll probably wanna upgrade it then. The EVGA 650 G2 is nice choice and boast a 10 year warranty.
