Hi Shardan

As soon as the UK Embargo is lifted then I will update you of the range, specs and ETA's Not long now :)

Hi Loki,

This might be off topic (or just someone that doesn't fully understand English, but what UK Embargo??

Looking at the new MSI GS63 and hopefully you will have some good deals/offers @ocUK!!

I have been wanting since June for it! I can almost smell it :D
(if they arrive in August, it will be heaven!!!)

Blimey, prices like that are a complete non-starter for me. Shame
I stretched for a Surface Book at £1800, which I regret. I don't think I could justify spending that amount again. Closer to the £1500 mark maybe.

1060 is a 960m-come-970m replacement, but costs double? What are people in the sub-£1200 (or even £1500) market meant to do? I get that these are launch prices, but still.

1070m pricing is more reasonable for what it is, and frankly makes the 1060 totally pointless right now.

Edit: The 14" 1060 is more reasonable.

and only 15.6 inches and bigger :(
I understand that more room is needed for integrated GPU, but can someone explain to me how you can brand something as "Stealth" and have it come in at 17.3 inches....

My hunt goes on for a nice relatively thin 14inch laptop with a 960m/970m/1060 type card....and im hesitant to buy a Razer as in the past I have had a nightmare with just their peripiherals for support, let alone a system!!

1060 is not a 960 replacement at all. It comes in above 970M

Yep, if nothing decent comes up with Thunderbolt (which is one of the things i like about the MSI models) that's one of the ones i was looking at. Thunderbolt just gives me that little extra satisfaction in knowing that should an external GPU situation become more available, i could potentially use it.

Some of the specs don't seem tooo bad. They are let down by 125gb ssd's though. It wouldn't really cost them much more if they made the lowest specs 256's. I personally would not go for the 4k screen but thats just my opinion. I would rarely watch movies on a laptop sceen, give me a >32" 1080p display over a 17.5 4k any day, and gaming well.. I dont know on that one. Personally I wouldnt be bothered about 4k gaming. As for performance, I cant comment. Again just my opinion here.

I like the idea of a 4K screen photo editing etc and for games it would be a bonus too. I guess if I go for a 1080p one I don't really need a 1070 and can get away with a 1060 maybe

But then I guess I could connect it to an external 4K screen. Thinking 1080p is going to be enough for me tbh
