Will there be a P35 with the 1060?
Hot-swappable bay is big plus for me (and for reference, I don't give a stuff about TB3).

Hi neverender,

Yes there will be P35 with GTX1060 - P35W v6-CF1 would be the expected name.

Not sure on ETA, but rest assured it is coming. As soon as it's close we will set up and range products with OcUK for pre-order.

Thanks for you interest and comments

What features are different between the vendors. To me it seems Gigabyte has less... So if you want less for the same price GO FOR IT. Power to you.

Not quite sure what you are comparing here spikerules,

But we beleive our P57X v6-CF2 @ £1,889

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/giga...-intel-i7-6700hq-gaming-laptop-lt-07d-gi.html

Vs -

MSIs GT72VR 6RE-040UK has the same GPU /CPU / RAM /SSD and HDD is £2,099

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/msi-...hd-ips-i7-6700hq-gaming-laptop-lt-24b-ms.html

By our calculations that's £210 price difference.

As mentioned previously, you are entitled to your opinion but please refrain from making inaccurate / misleading posts.

I can play this game too... Yes the MSI is a little more expensive, but it has 120Hz monitor more HD space and 17.3" display vs a 15'6 inch... And next time try linking the MSI page so we can judge the actual real world evidence.

Some people just like to ice skate uphill it seems...
Give it a rest. We get it, it's just we don't care.

You're either on MSI's payroll or need a better hobby. Elsewhere.

Just so you know, you have linked to a different product then what the rep was referring to.

Also the MSI is £150 more expensive in those two links you have given, I wouldn't class £150 as little more expensive, £50 would have been.

P.S the gigabyte has double the SSD capacity.

Perhaps you should quit while you still can.

Nope I'm not. I prefer Asus as a brand, but have bought Acer, Asus, MSI and Alienware in the past. I would love to buy a Gigabyte too, but they always fail to add current gen hardware... If Gigabyte offered a TB3 and 4K display with a 1060 I'd buy today. I don't like the brushed look of he MSI, but will have to go with them.

It's the only equivalent and has 120hz, more HD space, 17 inch monitor and is lighter. Read my post I stayed it was a little more expensive.

Sigh.

Apples and Bananas.....:(

We will not post competitors links on "our" thread, and generally this behaviour is forbidden by OcUK moderators.

However we will edit the post above with the correct MSI product.

Not quite sure why you would make that comment, but then post 2 completely different products that were being compared. (especially when we gave the exact product code)

I think enough is enough.

Regards and apologies to all, we have tried to cover everything fairly and clearly.

I'm honestly not doing this to derail you Atom. You seem like a nice person, but I spoke to you with your 900 series laptops and asked then Why no TB3. I was hoping you would release a new line with the 10xx series with TB3. I would buy your brand over the competitors if this was the case. It simply seem TO ME like poor value for money and poor future proofing to go with Gigabyte as is.

Anyways I do sound like a parrot repeating myself. I will buy your brand instantly when you equip your laptops with TB3. I'm out. Thanks for the discussion!
