Apparently from Reddit you need 5840 salvage for one gun to get all the way to epic... And you get 5 salvage a match. If the person did their math right, without supply drop extra salvage, you will need 8.5 days of ingame time to get a single gun to max.

I really hope this game doesn't end up like BO3 with regards to the beta compared to the final game. For me the BO3 beta played a LOT better than the final game ever did.

It obviously will, they copied everything else from BO3 so I imagine they have the same roadmap for the game:

1) Make an awesome beta
2) Release a load of balance updates to ruin guns
3) Release a regressive microtransaction model
4) Break the game with updates
5) Ignore all the broken things and pump out content
6) Start to promote the new game at some point next year when the community grows restless with IW
