I would actually speak to a proper jewelry designer and ask about having the entire ring melted down and cast in a shape/size that you like and fits you.

It's the same ring then, maybe a little chunkier.

My wedding ring is a black zirconium one with a grey zirconium insert. light weight, strong and cost about £140 at the time. Can't be resized though and it's always been a little loose, but I prefer that to being too tight.

Then to a Jewellers for resize or file for a divorce, job done!
