Hi all

My bath has an apparently standard 160mm gap between the centres of the taps (bath is only a couple of years old). I'm looking to replace the two separate taps for one mixer shower tap with thermostatic control, yet can I find a tap with 160mm centres? Can I hell.

Does anyone know where I can get such a tap with 160mm centres and why my apparently standard pre-cut tap arrangement is so un-standard?

Many thanks

Best option i can find is Bath Filler Tap Extension Legs that allow you to fit a wall mounted mixer tap. They may give you the extra spacing to allow a normal 180mm center tap to be used.
This may give you a ideal of what they look like http://www.toolstation.com/shop/Tap...alistic+Bath+Filler+Tap+Extension+Legs/p94706

If not have you thought about blanking off one hole and using a mono block tap may get round the issue

The centers on the tap are actually 150mm but the legs that come with the tap taper out to 180mm.

If they made straight legs it would solve your problem, not sure if they make them though?

Thats a good question, All i can say is every mixer tap I've looked at recently has either 180 or 150 centers.

Maybe your bath was drilled for individual taps only?

It might be a stupid idea but the off set of these legs in 10mm

If you got a 180 center mixer tap and swapped the legs round left for right then you would get your 160mm centers. No idea if this would work or what it would look like, might look a bit odd.
