Your neighbour has demonstrated very good cursive handwriting. I can't recall the last time I received a hand written letter more than a sentence long. Kudos .

I have to say that if I was the OP's neighbour I would put a 9x6 RSJ on floor against the dividing wall and as soon as music started I would drill RSJ with a 1/2" masonary bit in a SDS drill.- I have had people making so much noise we have had to lock ourselves into furthest room way from them.

You get no sympathy from me- It's not until you are on receiving end that you realise how bad it can be. :rolleyes:

No not particularly, as in the OP it's a Victorian terrace. Double skin brick I believe, all recently boarded and plastered in the case of our side.

Stud wall with some insulation on top of the brick? If so she shouldn't be able to hear normal TV levels, unless you have it hooked into a bass unit?

I think she is just bat **** crazy, but do ask to go in and have a listen but Jesus don't go in alone.
