I'm still alive. This is the current state of my thumb plaster as it turned colour overnight, completely red. Guess I'd better change it. Not for the squeamish. :eek:

Should have used one of those plaster stitches - squeezed cut together and put stitch across cut - plasters make cut go soft - you need to create a scab so you can pick it off later

Actually, it's going to be a bit tricky on my gig tonight as my thumb normally presses against the stick. I think I'll have to be ambidextrous and play my snare mostly with the right hand.
