the flaw I was highlighting was the idea that the number of people who don't sign is the counter
yes petitions have other flaws - thus the topic of the thread
Last time they did one of these protest petitions, 90% of the signatures were fake and done by bots. I expect this one to be the same.

It seems there is now a counter petition to the Trump one with I think approaching 100k signatures. It was briefly mentioned on the news today.

64 million in the Uk and 1 million singed some silly petition. There's no need for a counter petition for that, just best ignored.
