I'm sure all am sockets are all the same, i have just ordered 1700 and a am3 block wait till the 2nd to see motherboard reviews (fingers crossed)

As I understand it if your cooler uses the built in bracket it's the same from am3 but if it's a case of removing the bracket and using the motherboard holes they won't fit

The cooler situation is the only thing stopping me from ordering. I'd happily order all my components now but there's not much point if I can't get a Corsair AIO cooler with an appropriate bracket. I want to build a system once, not bung in a stop-gap cooler. I'm not spending 2K on here only to have to email Corsair and wait for a bracket.
