Smallest / Quietest ATX case? Fractal vs BeQuiet?

Hey guys,

I'm going to do a mini itx build with new gear but I want to house my older ATX setup in the smallest / quietest case possible. I don't care about side windows just build quality, size and low noise.

It's currently in an Akasa Omega with a snapped front door panel and it's bloody massive! so keen to save some space!

I don't have any hard drives just ssd's and I've only got a small graphics card and no other pcie bits to house.

I think I've narrowed it to:

Fractal Designs - Define C
BeQuiet Silent Base Midi 600

Any real world experiences comparing these two? Or any other options to suggest?

My define C with all fans running at around 700 rpm is silent to the point I can't tell it's switched on.

The Define's are fantastic. I also have the Aerocool DS230 atm and I'm loving that :cool:

As quiet as a Define but with RGB!!!

awesome - is that stock fans without any fan controller? if it is with a controller which do you recommend?

I'm using the motherboard headers for fan control.

Same, they go really low (if they're 4pin)

My rig is pretty much silent during no/low loads, and pretty damn quiet during gaming!
