Passed my test in 2010 and had the following:

2010 Citroen C1 - turned on its side in December 2012. Strangely miss this car more than I think I did at the time
2010 Ford Fiesta 1.25 - was shared until I bought my first car below.
2003 BMW Z4 2.5i Roadster - bought one of the cheapest in the country. Had a few minor issues, but I enjoyed a lovely summer of roof-down driving, being told by work colleagues that "we're obviously paying you too well" in my <£4k car
2006 BMW Z4 3.0Si Coupe - stepped up significantly in terms of cash to regret having changed - I lost the main thing I enjoyed in the Z4 and gained a thousand rattles
2000 BMW M5 - at the risk of sounding like mrk, I think this may well be my 'forever' car. It's just such a good package.

Oh, and contrary to the above list, I'm not really a particular fan of BMW, it's just happened that way.

This really doesn't surprise me - I don't understand the appeal of the Z4 Coupe and I especially don't understand the silly money they sell for. It's a Z4 which lacks the Z4's main plus point but keeps all the negative aspects :(

Please get a proper car in a couple of years time Vern, I feel a little bit sick. :p

Well at least I never owned a Lada (came close) :)

There could be a bit of late 50's rebellion when I retire and something with 4 rings on the front beckons, though I expect SWMBO will insist on a Volvo estate so we can chuck the bikes in the back for day trips.

Bit late to this thread but I'm procrastinating and found this thread so thought I'd post anyway...

1997 Astra merit 1.4 8v SPI - This was a horrible pos, sold it to a neighbour within 6 months
1990 Cav Sri 130 - loved this car but it was a rusty pos, used to get pulled over a lot. Sold it for £75!
1998 Mondeo V6 Si - I enjoyed having a V6 at 19 and it was surprisingly cheap to insure at the time. Traded it towards my next car...
1999 Impreza Turbo - great car which I ruined with OTT mods and eventually wrecked the engine on a trackday :( Broke it for parts and made a few quid back thankfully...
1996 306 D turbo - bought this as a daily once I'd modified the Impreza to the point of it being uncomfortable as a daily. A decent car for £600!
2000 Seat Leon sport - basically a cupra before they used the name, it was ok for £1200 but generally a pretty boring car with awful fuel economy considering the (lack of) performance
2003 Impreza Sti - fantastic car which I sold when I lost my job, would be worth about double now compared to what I sold it for 4 years ago :(
2002 Clio 172 - the most fun car I've ever owned although it had a lot of annoying issues that cost a fair amount to fix. About to be sold to someone to turn into a track car
2004 Alfa 156 GTA - best engine of any car I've ever owned but the handling was awful and maintenance costs ridiculous. Luckily sold it to a big Alfa fan for a profit!
2015 Fiesta ST-3 - like a modern version of my 172, great fun when going for a hoon. Wasted on me though as I rarely get time for a fun drive, going to sell it in the next couple of months.
2004 330i Sport - bought this in the last week, a cheap high mileage car with a FSH. It was cheap as the arches are rusty, will be going in a local bodyshop for new rear arches/front wings in the next few weeks.

2012 - Purchased a 2007 relatively standard Clio. Did the job but it was approaching 10 years old and things started failing on it. The air con wasn't cold, rear demister was damaged, tyres kept losing pressure for no reason. Ended up just wanting something with more bite..
2017 - To which I nabbed a 2015 Clio RS 200 EDC. Damn it's good fun to drive. I'm absolutely smitten with the auto box. It's fantastic for traffic and makes driving so easy.
