Basically I need something that I can stream Netflix and Amazon on using my WiFi, but that I can also plug an external hard drive into that can play files of different formats.
Been using a Firestick and my Sony smart TV, but a lot of different files and audio codecs from my hard drive aren't recognised by the TVs operating system.
Haven't really got the budget to put on a micro build, so looking for a quick and simple solution that performs reasonably well.
I imagine some kind of Android box would do the job, but there are so many on flea Bay that its a job to know whats decent and what isnt.
Any recommendations would be appreciated
