Water temperature using led display

Morning all been a while but I'm bk with a new watercooling build but I have one question I have that's bugging me.ive never used a led display before just wanted it for visual and looks.
My app on pc says my cpu is 5c but my led shows 23.9c could some one explain to me why it's showing it that high.

because it probably is that high. Your cpu isnt going to be cooler than the air in your pc unless your chilling that water somehow - the app is wrong.

I can't even get my cpu that low with sub zero outside air going through my radiators so that app is miles out.

aye odd its core temp showing wrong not sure why tho but least I got the led

I had this problem on AIDA64. CPU cores where showing -4C. I corrected this by making the TJ Max 100 C

How do you change the tjmax from 80 to 100 matey.

I'mma guess you have an AMD processor...?
My AMDs were always the same. Once you dropped below about 40ºC, AMD chips would read drastically under what (little I know about) science says is possible, given the circumstances. Something to do with the temp sensors on the motherboards, IIRC...
