Our trusty E39 is going kaput unfortunately after 15 years of ownership so we are looking at getting something else new or used don't mind. Budget is 16k upfront total or 8-10k over 3 years (i.e. 50-60% depreciation/lease/PCH payments)
Looking for some ideas - what would you get with that budget? Only real requirement at this point is that it's smaller than the E39. Ideally we'd like a crossover or small suv but would consider a smaller sedan as well. Also, needs to be easy /cheap to insure because I have 0 NCB (named driver :/) so that rules out options like Golf R, S4's etc
I've considered options like:
-C4 Cactus (EAT6 turbo 2017)
-Countryman
-Qashqai
-QX30
-Golf SE Nav
Any other possible options to consider that would fit within that budget for PCH or outright purchase and are enjoyable/worth it?
