The guys working for them work damn hard and the people buying/using their services work damn hard. The people keeping all of them safe or looking after them when ill work damn hard . The teachers that taught the lot of them work damn hard.etc etc

Someone making half a million a year is surely getting a whole lot more out of the country and it's many resources than someone on the lower tax rate

Maybe they do, maybe they don't. There are no absolutes either way, but people do not work equally hard (or at all), that's just life.

She can add up

Yeah but she also thinks child porn can be removed from the internet with the use of hashtags. You know, pedos will handily tag their pics with #underage

And also

Despite recorded crime data showing an increase in offences, particularly gun and knife violence, Ms Rudd insisted the annual crime survey showing a fall was more accurate.

She claimed that increased reporting of crime is positive as it shows a greater willingness of victims to come forward.

At least when you are taxed more she can say "no, no you really have more money"

EXCLUSIVE: We asked rapper Lowkey for his thoughts on Jeremy Corbyn, he didn't hold back

Always amazes me when people do a good job of breaking down the issues facing society and foresight into those issues and then completely abandon that level analysis and show no discernment of where the country would go under Corbyn beyond the face value words on things which he hasn't even had to put actual money where his mouth is yet and playing on emotional rhetoric against things like defence and nuclear weapons rather than utilising the same kind of analytical deconstruction of the value of those system as was used to expose the issues facing society.

I don't know. It's just looking increasingly as if the Tories managed to surprise themselves by calling an election.

I'm a bit perplexed how the Tories managed to call the election then come off seeming like they were least prepared for it of any of the main parties.

I think the breaking election rules thing may be plausible. Alternatively they've realised that there is no coherent plan with any chance of success for Brexit and have decided to have a crack at letting Labour screw it up instead of them.

It'll be interesting to see if there is something bigger at play especially with the whole thing with Qatar. I don't think the timing is just coincidence. As much as I think May called the election intentionally due to being able to blind side the opposition with the timing things since seem to indicate her hand has been forced somewhat.

I do actually think tin foil hats are an acceptable form of headwear around this election.

If May gets in with a smaller majority/minority then will she face a coup attempt? We could end up with Boris or Amber Rudd in charge in a week or two...

I'm actually kind of surprised we've not seen more of a leadership challenge - its almost like the chalice is too poisoned even for the normally power reaching lot.
