I've had my Enermax 620w PSU since 2006 and it has been flawless through multiple builds, but I'm starting to get a bit twitchy having such an old central component.

I'm looking for something quiet, efficient and modular at a reasonable price. Current PC spec is:

970GTX
i7 3770
1 SSD

Any recommendations?

I've got one of those, red/black/gold? Heard they take out components and prone to failure, reliable for a while then after a few years bang.

I'd probably keep it with that build and only replace it if you decide to change anything else, a decent 550w 80+ Gold would be more than enough for that system though.

Thanks for the advice everyone.

Edit: I've ordered a Seasonic G550 80+ Gold, should get to install it over the weekend. :)
