Swaying towards the 8 plus... By the time I have looked at the phone with the X I would have paid and be walking out the door with the 8, all this while not looking like a chump.

Yep not buying the hype. Leaks looked quality but the X is basically a bigger, better screen and some fun emojis. Looks like i'm be sticking with the 8+ on the upgrade program.
The fact it's X (ten) shows to me that they expect there to be one last Touch ID phone, the 9? Showing that the Face ID needs more work perhaps?

Same.... Hand in pocket, double tap the home key whilst its coming out of pocket followed long pause on button with thumb and its ready by the time it hits the reader.
If you have an Apple watch then not much of an issue but yes, looked rather awkward in use.

Ok well bye everyone and I’ll be enjoying mine on launch day!
You don't even need to double tap, just rest it on the sensor as you put it next the the reader, even if the phone is locked.

Airpods, watch, phone all wireless now - nice.
I hope all of the haters are serious when they say they aren't going to buy one - should improve my chances at getting one
