I've done a google but I'd rather get some recommendations from real people, hence asking here
I've got a 50+ year old 8mm cine film of my parents wedding* that I would like to get transferred directly to DVD or Blu-ray.
Obviously given the sentimental value of this I don't want to send it off to some random company, and would ideally like to have it done fairly locally at a trusted place (I know for example Costco offer the service but would prefer some recommendations than throwing a dart at the yellow pages
).
*From memory my grandfather or one of his brothers worked at Kodak at the time and was into cine film.
