Hi All,

Upgrading my old trusty 2600k and this is what i've come up with.

i'm wanting a fairly quite PC.

Will i hit any problems with the size of the cpu fan and memory stick etc with this case.

I don't play games, it's for music production and trading only.

thanks

Waza

Hi

Everything looks compatible. The i7 8700K is way overpriced at the minute though imo.

For the psu a 550W is easily enough.

Any of these would do.

A few thoughts - You're overspending hugely on the power supply, a decent 550w will be more than enough. The cooler, whilst very good will likely give you problems if you use both fans. There are more compact solutions that'll cool just as well.

I had a look on Noctua's website before my previous post and there is nothing flagged as being incompatible for that board. The Corsair ram is also low profile so shouldn't be an issue there.
