Kaap, we really the only ones with the V on these here forums?
Out of curiosity, what are you wanting to do?i feel like i might have to email you with some stuff to run on this and your various systems for the sake of bench marking the scalability of some of my 4th year uni coursework, CPUs and GPUs of which I cannot get access to haha.
I'm tempted to buy one for scientific computing
Lol!I was doing plenty of scientific computing last night with my mate Ron Bacardi.
Lol!
The Nvidia UK website says shipping estimate is Dec 30. Did you get yours from the UK website?
Thanks. I'll post here if I decide to pull the triggerYes.
I don't think NVidia are expecting to shift a lot of the cards so probably had very little stock to start with.
Not me, been a village idiot many times already. Maybe if you could SLI these beasts, but you can't. You can't even use NVLINK if the need arouse.
As long as you're happy!
You sure do spend a lot of time in the V threads for someone who isn't interested.
No one cares about your thoughts on value in an owners thread. The regular V thread wasn't enough? Coming into an owners thread to call people names is petty. Simple as that.
It's pretty obvious what these owner's threads are for; I don't think it's very subtle. "Roll of Honour" etc. It's a whole lot of look at this and that, but it's silly. Enjoy it whilst it lasts though, I guess that's what it's always been about with these halo cards. It's a ploy that's obviously still working depending on how much money you're willing to throw at it.
Same hardware voltage limit as Pascal yes? Annoying...
Looks like it - those doing extreme overclocking are doing hardware shunt mods, etc.
