Battery life hasn't been affected though so that's gravy :)

Yep. Got random overheats and reboots. Red light flashing even though the battery is full and I have no notifications.
Gave up and bought myself a Pixel 2.
My phone seemed to bug out after the update (Any apps that ran a screen overlay would crash/stick). Ended up having to reset the device through the recovery menu but since then it's been better than when I first bought it :)

Spoke too soon. Since 5.0.1 my network on sim 1 drops to nothing after about 10-12 hours. Only a power cycle fixes it.

Bug section of the forum suggests I'm far from alone.

Yea I lost mobile data every time I would move away from wifi, I turned on "aggressive wi-fi to movile handover" and it seems to be OK since then.

This was after resetting APNs about 5 times and trying the aeroplane mode on/of suggestion that I had seen as well.

Gaaaaaaaaa! Does anyone know how much it is to get the screen replaced on one of these?

Yes, last night I smashed my first ever smartphone screen :(

I just did exacly the same thing.
dropped onto tiled floor :(
Screen glass has smashed but the screen and touch still work.

Did you send yours to oneplus?
How long did it take to fix?

My 3 is coming up to my 2 year upgrade cycle and getting a bit frustrated with bugs on 5.0.1, whats a good next phone at the moment?

Needs dual sims and either 3.5mm audio or audio over USB support

I went through the process of:

Wanting a brand new phone
Wanting to just fix the screen
Got used to it - still have a cracked screen

But they did quote me 93 euros and around 9 - 14 days.

I'm probably looking at Nokia 7 plus if I upgrade any time soon, kinda holding out for the 5.1 update but I won't be holding my breath.

It's android one, dual sim, microsd, 3.5mm jack, decent spec and decent price (rumoured at 350). It seems like the Nexus replacement my 3T was supposed to be.

Also I think most android devices will do audio over usb via an OTG cable.
