I'm enjoying this, but I miss the grind of buying a second hand cheap car and eeking your way through the Sunday / Clubman cups, just to buy tyres and a muffler. :D

They've finally fixed the GT curse of terrible shadows. I was surprised to see them looking so terrible in GT5.

Also, I'm really missing the classic maps, especially the bigger names like Tsukuba and Laguna Seca.

Yeah it's not a bad game for the reduced price of £18 I paid, but I definitely wouldn't have been very happy if I'd paid closer to a normal retail game price. I'm personally not a massive fan of the car selection, and the track selection is pretty limited. Also, it's really annoying that if you just want to jump into it for a bit and do a few laps around a track you can't just choose any car you want, you have to go with one of the pre-selected cars or one from your garage, plus you have to unlock the tracks. Has anyone played any Project Cars 2? I helped fund the first Project Cars but only ever played it on the PC, so I'm a bit out of the loop now.

Feel free to add my PSN - It's my username without the space.

I'm trying to get into sport mode but I seem to be rather unlucky with who I end up with in races with the matchmaking putting me in a field of people who are ridiculously quick :(

Starting to get tempted to jump into some racing games again, I have Forza 7 on the Pc at the moment which I'm enjoying, but I'm really starting to miss playing on my wheel. It's in the loft at the moment so I'm gonna have to make some space for it downstairs and get it set up again.

I've heard that Forza 7 can be pretty naff with a wheel though, Horizon 3 was terrible so I'm half expecting it to be similar. I was getting the urge to give GT6 another playthrough, but given that my PS4 is sat there gathering dust I might as well give GT Sport a go and make use of it.

Just reading around I can see people using the T500rs + TH8rs shifter, but the game doesn't list them as supported? Is there anybody using a similar setup that could give their thoughts on how well they work? Also, I haven't kept up to date with all things Playstation over the last few years, am I right in thinking that I will need Playstation plus in order to play online with GT Sport?

this man knows where its at. That to me is what GT is all about, wish they would go back to that formula. Give me masses of car porn like Forza series, give me amazing photo abilitys but let me drive around buying cars like in Test Drive Unlimited going through rookie leagues in rust buckets etc. Loved those old days.

Man, these where the days of GT racing games.

Still the newer content being added to GT Sport is making the game more and more attractive for casual players. Enjoying it more now its got some leagues of sort.

Really starting to want the old classic tracks I mean where's Spa ,Silverstone ,Monza and Le mans surely they still have the data from gt5/6 because they were fine reproductions.
A few more older cars wouldn't go a miss too all these prototypes are nice but they don't do it for me

They have tested some of the older tracks, importing them into the revised engine but they needed a lot of work. Some of the curbstones were 4 cars wide. So some work is still required to bring them over from the older platform.

Some of your desires will be fulfilled tomorrow.
