Hate white but blue works.
As you say, each to their own.
If it were my money I'd deffo buy a red one.
Oh.....wait....
Also those pics show why I had the rear bumper painted after I got it. Colour match was not up to my standard.

The paint would certainly be hard work to maintain.

I was overly precious with the car and black paint showing up every imperfection didn’t help
Not only that but black hides all the lines on the R8. Not a great colour for them at all
Wish I had got my car in grey. But got a great deal on the black version. (Recaro seats from a more expensive model thrown in, as well as an extra alloy wheel)

Point is, they are all flashy cars meant to be shown off and black really does not flash too much.
I am sure the engine note will get peoples attention if the colour doesn't

Bradford choice of car at moment is rs6/rs3. R8 are not that common here anymore.
Huge increase in R35s in East London lately. Easily spot 4-5 a day in my area. Might be cause of the price finally dropping under 35k for early models

Got a few things to do; alloy wheels are terrible and need refurbed inc the centre caps (£100 for 4, thanks VW!) and the paint isn't bad but would definitely benefit from a good detailing and correction.

Might be worth looking on eBay for the centre caps: I paid about £10 for all 4 on my Jag and they were fine: when comparing them to the OEM ones there was no visible difference and they lasted for the 40k miles I had the car with no fading or degradation.
Nice! always loved that shape Golf R especially in that colour. Awesome sound aswell. The prices of these seem to be ever increasing over the last year or so I considered one myself a few times until I seen even private sellers trying to charge 7k for 12 year old examplesBeen a while since I've posted here, thought I'd add this. 2009 Golf R32

@geekman - Those were eBay prices, from a Lithuanian seller as well, lol these things must be rare.
@Dav4 - Yep me too, always wanted one. Saved some cash and just went out and found one, you only live once etc! Prices do seem to be strong for these, dwindling numbers of good examples. I saw some shocking examples in my search to buy one.
