There isn't any good reason to doubt the diagnosis and lets be honest, the first mistake was not even a mistake it was completely mad. The second was a shocker but keepers make those occasionally. The first was just ridiculous.

Keep him as keeper next season Liverpool fans?

Not for me, I dont think he has actually improved at all since becoming No 1, just that the defence itself has(somewhat).

Problem is everyone that is considered a top keeper at the moment is huge money, though I think we have plenty to spend.

No, I'd rather use him as a striker if he stays.

100% this. Robertson and VVD have improved our defense immeasurably and both Karius and Lovren have looked far better as a result.

career on the line :D:D

mate you have to realise it looks a bit odd.
A doctor giving fake diagnosis isn't going to jeopardise his career? And why does it look odd, especially given that what you claimed (Henry being a trustee) isn't true?

No, nor did I claim it was a professional opinion. How he can claim the concussion came from that incident is highly dubious as well and totally unprovable.
He doesn't actually say it resulted from that incident, just during the match and as Moses said, you'd have to assume that he was told that Karius didn't suffer any other head injuries in the previous few days other than that incident during the match.

A list of other foundation grants can be found here, and last year's grants ranged in size from $100 to $1 million. That $1 million grant went to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston to fund operations, by the way.

No way Karius was on holiday a mile from a private hospital that the Liverpool owner has ties with.

Either way mate, if you believe he had concussion and that was the reason you lost the CL final then so be it.

So you're acknowledging that what you said wasn't true and Henry isn't a trustee of the hospital? Yes, his foundation has donated money to that and many other hospitals and countless other causes and business's in Boston, just like Rafa Benitez used to donate money to hospitals in Liverpool - I suppose they all gave dodgy diagnosis on Liverpool players too? And why are you surprised that Karius went to that hospital? Liverpool have sent several players to see specialists in Boston and guess what, the doctor that diagnosed Karius is one of the leading doctors in this field.

And where on earth did I say it had anything to do with the result. I just found your post highly ammusing - you really think one of the leading docs in the world for brain injuries is going to make something up as a favour for John Henry? Walk carefully mate, don't want you stepping off the edge of the world ;)

Not as concussed as those that are trying to claim this doc made it all up or imply that Liverpool supporters haven't accepted the result.

Agreed but come off it none of you believed he was concussed before this flimsy doctors assessment and if it was Chelsea going through the same thing you would have been laughing your backsides off.

I think you suffered very little trolling after losing compared to Spurs when they went out.

What makes it flimsy danny? Because it doesn't suit your agenda? Not one Liverpool supporter in here linked the diagnosis to the result yet you came in and told us to accept it and move on? What was the purpose of that post?

And you may think there was less trolling because, as I've told you before, you can't see posts which have been deleted and I can assure you there was more punishments handed out to those that have been trolling Spurs and Utd supporters than have been trolling Liverpool supporters. I mean, you've gone how many years before you got a warning for it?

Over land and sea.
If Karius wasn't already pretty crap & prone to wonderful errors people would be more likely to accept that his apparent concussion may have been responsible for "deficits (that) would affect performance."
What will happen now though is history will tell us that the only reason Liverpool lost is that the bogeyman Ramos smashed the living daylights out of Karius (and Salah), not saying that's the case now but it will be in pubs all around the country by next year's CL final.

Yeah not sure why people are of the opinion the concussion makes a difference, other than the referee and Liverpool look much worse for failing to deal with a head injury. Some weird bitter retardation going on
