Usually around £25 for two of us, though we sometimes share a main and have a couple of sides.

I would love to know which take-away it was, I want to look at their menu! I haven't seen prices like that in probably twenty years.

Sounds like the 'Asif' restaurant to me, I can't ever remember anywhere getting 3 mains and 3 naans for that!

Costs about £12 round here for a main ,rice and bread or a few poppadoms

Haven’t eaten one for ages though as The last few haven’t been that good

Even assuming you're getting a naan for a quid you're looking at like £3 for a main. WTF is in that?

few months ago i paid around £20 for 1x chicken madras, 1x chicken vindaloo, 4 onion bhajees, 2x pilau rice, 1x peshwari naan, about 6 free poppadoms, 2x mint sauce things, 2x mango chutney, 2x onion salad things, and a partridge in a pear tree.

My local Chinese does a starter, main and sundrie for £6

It’s tasty food and they don’t reduce the quantities , it’s good if there’s a few people ordering as you can get a good mixture of food to share out

Normally pay ~£12 for main, rice, bhaji and nan.

My local does free delivery, but 20% discount if you collect, which seems like not actually free delivery to me.

This where I live. It was getting more expensive, but then another Indian opened up next door to my favourite and prices sorted themselves out. The delivery fee went too.

In North Manchester you can get 2 starters, 2 mains, rice, naan and poppadoms for £15 easily.
