Chrome 68 update has messed up colours

For some inexplicable reason after Chrome updated today the colours have gone a yellowish brown even afer uninstalling, rebooting, reinstalling etc.

The link below shows the difference between chrome a normal looking Firefox.

If this is some forced automatic brightness crap for eye strain WITHOUT the option to go back (Nothing I can see in the Settings), then this is dumb.

EDIT...

Turn OFF hardware acceleration and everything is back to normal. Yeah .... really dumb. :mad:

After installing 68, the Chrome icon when pinned to the start menu on Windows 10 now has a white background and looks terrible.

Go to Chrome://flags in the address bar, search for force color profile, change to sRGB.

The spacing between the icons in the bookmark bar are wider also which means I have 4 folders in overflow now. Also my muscle memory keeps going up to where my old icon was but it's not there now it more to the right. Really annoying.
