Blood moon in London this Friday

Absolutely nothing visible..

Yeah I spent half the afternoon looking at cloud radars and forecasts, trying to determine if it would be worth going to London or driving anywhere (really wanted a decent shot of it) and decided to stay in as it was almost certainly a write off, might be some storms if you're lucky though.

Fortunately we had perfectly clear skies here. I was actually out shooting something else, but decided to stay for the moon. Glad I did! Unfortunately my max focal length is only 80mm. But hey, hope you guys get some enjoyment :)

It isn't coincidental the storm arrived with lunar eclipse :) If any of you have watched an eclipse near tidal waters you'd understand.

The calm before the storm :)

Still water on a hot day creates hot and humid air = storm fuel.
