Ryzen 1600 @ 3.9Ghz without SMT
GTX 1070 +100/+400

Ignoring those 1 second 80% dips the GPU is still mostly locked to 97%, i don't know why 97% but MSI AB reads that in most of my games, unlike with SMT enabled it does now occasionally dip to below 95%, so there is a small difference, tho i think overall its just a couple of % on the averages.
The CPU is now working a lot harder, with SMT on the was roughly around 70% on all threads, with it off its 90%+ on all, sometimes clearly the 6 threads are getting into the high 90% and the GPU uterlisation dips a little from its usual 97%.

So, I don't usually check frame rates etc but if anyone would like to suggest a piece of software to grab some data I'm more than happy to to a few runs tonight.

I would suggest to just ignore the utilisation % and focus solely on min, max, average, 1% low, 0,1% low, basically just the output result.

My 2500K @ 4.6Ghz is pinned at 100% constantly. GTX 780 is also around 95-100% with frame rates averaging 55FPS on lowest settings @ 2560x1440. Game still looks surprisingly beautiful but its a painful gaming experience.

I've got at 1080ti arriving tomorrow but I've not yet decided on what new CPU to pair it with. I'm about to pull the trigger on an 8086K as I don't think I can wait till the i9s are released. Far too impatient.

Mmm, if you get the 8086k overclock it to 5ghz or more and that chip will be an absolute stonker.

^^^^ Yeah but its a bit boring :p
----------

I posted a Ryzen 1600 a few posts up guys, on a better GPU a Ryzen 2000 6 cores + will probably get about 20% higher performance given the clock speed and IPC improvements.

Look i'm getting an average of about 80 FPS, 90% of that is tied to GPU Performance.

Ryzen is NOT as good a gaming CPU as an 8700K but it seems with a 1600 i'm getting pretty good performance in a game that clearly is very hard on the CPU, about to the limits of what my overclocked GTX 1070 can manage at 1080P.

That's all that matters really, if you have any requests let me know.

Can you do a benchmark using afterburner? It's pretty decent. Would be interested in yours lows.
There is an option to bind to a key, so load g maps etc don't effect results.

OK, just did a quick run through - 3440x1440, ultra settings

Frames: 6246 - Time: 60000ms - Avg: 104.1 - Min: 79 - Max: 148

This is recorded with OBS - obviously has an impact on frame rates but you can see the cpu usage.

If anyone else wants me to do any other tests let me know

Same position.

Running I5 2500k at 4.5ghz
GTX 1060 6gb
1080p in High
Averages 50-60fps lows in the 30s

1440p frames ruins my eyes

Cpu is 100% constantly. I am looking to buy a new mobo, cpu and ram. October/nov

Average framerate : 132.6 FPS
Minimum framerate : 98.7 FPS
Maximum framerate : 166.2 FPS
1% low framerate : 78.2 FPS
0.1% low framerate : 38.2 FPS

Friend of mine has a 2500k (with a 980Ti+1440p Gsync) and is running it fine, no hiccups etc.

I find that hard to believe. I posted above my specs and the frame rates are struggling 64player maps
