Hi all,

My son is turning 10 soon and would like to start making youtube video's of his xbox gameplay. I am going to get him an Elgato, but not sure if the HD60s is worth the extra over the HD60. I've found a 2nd hand HD60 (boxed, all cables and 2 year warranty) for £70 - vs about £145 for the HD60s. Obviously if I got him the HD60, there would be extra funds for more presents.

Thoughts?

Thanks. My main concern was with the delay on the HD60, the usb mic and webcam won't be in sync. Will do some googling

edit: apparently Xplit has the option to add a delay so should be fine

Certainly not instant enough to be able to game with, even navigating the PS4 menu has a very noticeable delay.
Depending what headset setup he has, he may not need the chat link cable. I run my headphones through an Astro Mixamp so just run a 3.5mm audio cable from its stream output port to the Elgato.
