Seriously I'm actually impressed.

How much are we talking to buy a printer that does a decent "print" and how much is the plastic stuff that it uses?
Is it one of these things that's costing 30 quid to make a tiny plastic Groot, cool but utterly not worth it?

How many of these are designed and how many of them are downloaded? The groot with name plate for example?

Ive just built my 3d printer (winter project this is)
It's a prusa mk3 and I have no idea what to expect. Just finished the calibration today.

Groot among Groots

The wheel was designed by myself fwiw (loosely based on the shape of a real AMG rim).

pretty impressed with the bridges it can print with no support

I'm frequently like "no way!" by the bridges mine manages... then buoyed with confidence from that try something else a little ambitious overhang wise and it ends up a disappointing mess LOL.

Got some wood stuff somewhere might have to try Groot in that.

I get the problems it prints something super complicated, with no problems, and then completely ***** up printing something simple

seems a lot of people sell designs rather than provide them for free.
I think the vast array of stuff on thingiverse would disagree. Paid models are in the minority.
In the case of that Predator and especially the wearable Iron man suit, a hell of a lot of time and effort have gone into designing them, so I don't see why they shouldn't charge.
