I seem to recall some posters have done base camps.

My brother-in-law got as far as the bus station, then changed his mind when he was told there was no
bus service to Nepal and the number 45A only went as far as Lahore [ on schooldays ] so he didn't bother.

I've climbed Pendle Hill, twice no less, it's basically the same thing.

Did it without oxygen as well because I'm a grade A savage.

I haven’t climbed Everest myself but did anyone realise that if you add your age to the year you were born, you always get 2018.
