Then as a real treat we have TeamGroups LEGEND RGB, this is special because it is very high-end IC with very tight latency timings of 14-14-14-31.

Would this memory be good for an i7 9900k & A Z390 based MB. With the option of overclocking ofc

Is this confirmed as B die? I am talking about the £120 and £128 sets??

I might want to order some for a Ryzen build and I need to avoid Hynix and dual ranked memory to make my life a bit easier.

No TUF is just high-end IC, but no mention or guarantee of B Die, if it was B Die at that price I'd personally buy it all myself and re-list on Ebay and make a profit. :D

So is this Hynix or Micron based and more importantly is it single ranked or dual ranked??

Edit!!

In another thread someone got the 3GHZ RAM to run fine at rated speed with a 2400G and a Gigabyte B350 motherboard.

Got a link to that thread? Trying to find bits for a cheap Ryzen rig for my cousin and the whole chip/ram/mobo juggle that put me off the 1st gen is back!

Anyone know the profile of the VULCAN TUF GAMING ALLIANCE sticks? Similar to vengeance lpx? EDIT: Think I found it and it is seemingly 1-2mms less in height.

I preordered one of the TUF 16GB 3200MHz sets for £128.99 last week and finally installed it today. I can confirm that my set is using Samsung B Die, I also managed to tighten the timings down to CL15 at 1.3V and everything seems stable so far.

B-Die should do C14 easily, try 14-14-14-31-1T with 1.30v

Depending on your CPU / Motherboard maybe also try 16-16-16-38 at 3600MHz.

Yorkshire and proud of it!
I'm about to do a Threadripper build (yay!) so this looks great to me. One question - how important is to buy Quad Channel packs rather than two Dual Channel packs? I don't intend to overclock the RAM beyond the advertised spec if that makes a difference.

EDIT: Whoops. Just noticed how old this thread is. Looks like I missed the special offer. Still, would be useful to know.

I need some assistance with tweaking the RAM.

So I got the Team Group Vulkan 3200MHZ RAM which was on offer recently.

I used D.O.C.P. and I am running the RAM at the standard 3200MHZ settings on an Asus B450 mini-ITX board.

I tried using the Ryzen calculator for C16 timings - anyone here know what settings I would need to get 3000MHZ or even 3200MHZ at C14??

I am currently use the stock cooler as I don't really intend to overclock the CPU yet,but any suggestions on a decent low profile cooler??

Mine too.
