Tempted with the Vega64 , since I understand it's the only one that will offer any improvement over my current MSI 980ti Gaming. Not sure by how much though? Gaming at 3440x1440 @ 60hz and on Rift.

You can expect 35 to 40%, Vega 64 is ahead of the GTX 1080 specially on latest games, don't know how it will do on VR thouhg as I don't own any, steamvr test gives +13000 score or so.

Isn't the GTX980TI closer to a GTX1070?? It might be worth waiting for a faster card IMHO.

1070 replacement for the price paid

In some games its very close to a GTX1070 and others not so much.

To put it in perspective, your 980ti is about on par with a 1070, the V56 is on par with a 1070ti, and the V64 is on par with a 1080.

So it's basically the equivalent of a 1070 - 1080 upgrade, for £400, factor in ~200 for your 980ti and that's essentially £200 for the upgrade.

I brought the Nitro+ 64 a few weeks ago from OCuk, and paid £490 for it. I am still within my return period, and the box is unopened. Do you think OCuk might refund me the difference, instead of me returning the £490 card and then buying it for £400?

Yeah, the GTX980TI cards were good overclockers too from what I gather.
they ware good cause no crap limits like on pascal cards. Pascals would overclock great if You could cut crappy TDP/voltage limits out !!! Fury X compared to 980ti was junk taht costed same lol.

@Gibbo that Vega 56 deal is so good that I would like one even tho i got titan haha. First time I see them as good cards for the money :D Maybe grab code for Division too off someone was planning 2 buy it anyway hehe.

Man that Vega 64 deal is tempting, even though I have a 1070ti (suits my freesync monitor better).

Anyone know how how a 64 does with World of Tanks at 1440p? Struggling to find benchmarks. Brain is telling me it's not going to be any different, save your pennies.
