Hey Guys,

A friend recently gave me an old (ish) gaming pc and was wondering what people thought of the spec and any recommended upgrades?

I know some of the parts are good but also some are probably quite old or outdated as he had it for a while before me, Ideally, I want to play more modern games on it such as GTA V, Kingdom Come Etc. I am not too fussed about any sort of 4k gaming really but I am looking to run those sort of games at pretty decent settings with mods.

Any help/advice would be great, even if it's to tell me to start from scratch :D

The HDD and SSD are worth keeping.

The GTX 750ti is okay for low end 1080p gaming, like eSports titles - basically stuff that isn't too graphically intense. Keep if that's acceptable, or sell. For KC:D you'll want an RX580 level graphics card.

The motherboard, ram and cpu I'd sell on eBay as a package for whatever you can get for it, and buy new stuff.

You could also try overclocking the cpu being careful of temperature and voltage.

Just be careful of spending money on anything you can’t move to your eventual replacement machine.
