Yes, it will cool it just fine. i9 9900k is rated at only 95w TDP stock, so unless you are planning a rather serious overclock you don't need much cooling .. not to mention ithat is just another Asetek CLC using pumps that flow at best about what a healthy adult can urinate (40-60L/h) compared to arguably the most popular custom loop pump being able to move 1500L/h. CLCs are not only limited in cooling by cheap aluminum radiator sizes, but also by extemely low coolant flow rates compared to real water cooling.

Some source say 95w at 3.6GHz all cores, up to about 166w at 4.7GHz all cores. Some put it at a little over 200w when torture testing all cores. I haven't seen one sayig 250w, but some may claim that.

Tom's seems to say that it approaches 250w when under load with work apps all core but im not sure if thats trying to get them all at 5ghz. But to be fair thats extreme so im sure most top end coolers will keep it under wraps.

Get the newer platinum version CORSAIR Hydro H115i Addressable RGB PLATINUM, has the newer cold plate and pump.

Done, just ordered it. I’ll return the pro to the rainforest unused cheers for the heads up. :)

Reviews say it’s an improvement. Not a huge one but it’s still there and the block is bigger and the RGB fans have more headroom. Plus more lights :p

I paid £119 for the pro and just paid £139 for the platinum so £20 more :D YOLO
