That’s insanely expensive. Also the blurb in the product on OCUK says that model has the i7 (although further down it says it’s the i9 variant)

I’ll be passing at that price!

I'm probably going to replace my gt73vr 7rf with a gt75 titan but 4k! I only paid 2800 for my gt73 in June 2017. Seems a lot of money for a rtx2080 spec laptop . The two power blocks also put me off but I really do like the MSI laptops.

The best deal for 2080 based machine is the GT63 at £2.5K.

I won't buy an MSI but that's a cracking deal.

I'm assuming the main difference between those two lines is that the Aero ones are aimed at being slim and light, whereas the Aorus ones are the fatter, more "in your face" gaming versions?

Hmmmm. Semi tempted by the Aorus ones (given the prices of the Aeros :o).

I think I'll wait for the reviews, then make my decision based on fan noise, cooling performance and benchies.

Looking at the cooling/vents on the AORUS 15, I look forwards to a model with a full fat RTX 2080.

If MSI can do it, I'm sure the team at Gigabyte/AORUS can.

Come on AORUS, trash the dragon.

So I see. I'm thinking even a 2070-MaxQ would perform more efficiently and faster than my existing 1070. The 2080 machines are amazing but so much more expensive than I was expecting, bar one, which seems to be a 2080 Max Q version.

In the first leaked benchmarks the 2070 MaxQ is a chunk faster than a desktop 1080 but I'm waiting for some more legitimate numbers. TDP is the same as the 1070 Max-Q

I see more updates today. For me it's going to be a toss up between the MSI and Asus. But the price point has to be under £3k, so it (mostly) rules out the 2080 machines which is a shame. I'll be more than happy with the 2070 even if it is the Max-Q.

Out of interest when I sell on my GT73VR what do you think I could get for it?
