I know its a bit boring, but im going to change ours. Is there anything i need to be aware off such as is there a standard hole size that goes through worktops?

In before someone mentions don't forget to turn the water off:D.

Whats your budget and do you have a ikea near? If below £100 i was seriously impressed with the tap i got for my parents. It came with a tool to fit it so no need to buy the above. Bare in mind the gaurentee you see will not cover the washers/ceramic discs and even a 500 tap will eventually start dripping. You can replace but a little tricky with cheaper less known brands.

Also think about how it's connected below. ..flexi hoses are easy but are they the right connection! If solid copper pipes then you will need some special tools.. .

Did it this morning, biggest challenge was making the new tap fit the hole. I had to file out a small bit of the resin sink as it was about half a mm undersize.
