So the 2080 is between 10 and 16% faster, exactly as i said it woulkd when AMD announced this thing.

At lower resolutions it is nearer a 2070 than a 2080:

The bad part is it takes AMD 300w and a hole new 7nm node to be 15% slower than a 2080

The $320 thing is a rumour based on a single purchase of hbm. As for removing the ram its not possible if they want to get a performance boost as removing half the ram would half the bandwidth. Also the ram is already on the package when the gpu goes to get tested.

It's a failed Instinct chip, you can't just cut half of the HBM off it at that point.

Like I said before they've cut away too much heatsink too make sure it's only a two slot design.

they are taking order at present, then they will have to goto another department for getting it ready

Looks like it's a loud card, and the max fan speed kicks in sooner as it's based on junction temp. It's going to need some tweaking to not sound like a tornado.
