Not sure if it's something i've done recently or something from an Excel update but a lot of my spreadsheets are exploding in file size.

When i look, the odd tab has a tiny scroll bar on both vertical and horizontal axis. This is usually fixed by pressing CTRL+END and then deleting and rows/columns after the actual data.

However for some reason this isn't working anymore and after hitting delete, pressing CTRL+END still takes me to cell XFC1024838 which whilst not the very end cell it's up there!

In the end i've created a new tab, highlighted my data and "Cut and pasted" to the new tab and then deleted the original and renamed the new tab to the old name so that links still work. Luckily by cutting rather than copying all the internal pivots/links still work.

It's getting annoying though. Any idea why deleting the rows isn't working?

I think it's just because Excel is a bit pap sometimes.

I've come across the exact same issue in the past (although I use CTRL+SHIFT+arrow key personally), and usually the deletion works, but sometimes it doesn't, for no obvious reason.
