I'm so tempted to get this as a second camera for my face when I'm vlogging. It looks perfect for what I need. I can do some exciting things with it like a split screen with half of the video showing the GoPro on my head strap and the other half of the video showing my face using the Osmo Pocket.

I did consider using my mobile phone and a gimbal for it, but I think the Osmo Pocket would be a better solution in the long run and I won't have to fill up my phone's storage with video.

Edit: Did anyone buy the 3.5mm adaptor to plug in an external microphone? How does it work in practice, and which microphone did you get?

Just a quick heads up for anyone wanting one. I just had an email saying the 3.5mm adaptor is in stock again on the official DJI store.

I cant comment on the adapter, but a lot of people are mentioning/getting the Rode VideoMicro for these type of cameras. Ie, GoPro & Osmo

1) 2.7K resolution for video
2) Optimized phase detection auto focus
3) Optimized focus when shooting at night
4) Improved sensitivity of the Osmo Pocket Extension buttons
5) Added focus correction algorithm for Motionlapse
